Pierre Vollereaux
In 1923 Pierre Vollereaux’s grandfather began making Champagne from the family estate in St. Pierre Epernay. For the previous 100 years the family had sold their grapes to large Champagne houses. Today Vollereaux produces:
BRUT Made from equal parts of Chadonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The wine is a blend of the last three vintages.
BLANC DE BLANCS This champagne is 100% Chardonnay.
BRUT ROSE This Champagne is 100% Pinot Noir. The Pink color is the result of contact of the skins with the juice of the grape, not a blend of red and white wines.
BRUT DEMI-SEC The same as the regular Brut, but wit a little sugar added.
Pierre’s favorite quote is, “ Why drink coffee in the morning when you can drink Champagne!”
All of these champagnes offer a clean crisp taste in the mouth with a refreshing finish.
NOTE: The small shield on the back label turns from black to red when the Champagne has reached its proper serving temperature. |
